error " no such repository" while logging win cvs -d :pserver: command

Hi All,

I have noticed that when i try to login with following command

cvs -d server:nilesh@192.168.20.61:/usr/local/HomePowerMngt/ login

it asks for the passwd

Then it gives no such repository error

I tried the same command on old repositories and it allows me to login.
All permissions are proper.

[root@bugzilla ~]# cvs -d server:nilesh@192.168.20.61:/usr/local/HomePowerMngt/ login
Logging in to server:nilesh@192.168.20.61:2401/usr/local/HomePowerMngt
CVS password:
/usr/local/HomePowerMngt: no such repository
[root@bugzilla ~]#[/COLOR]

Smile Hurray......Solved the problem

Hello All,

It's because of directory named / was wrongly created and it contains the cvs pserver file in it.

so it allowed older repository to log in but not the new one as new repository entry is in the vi /etc/xinetd.d/cvs.

Regards
