Exclamation Error connecting to IMAP server: localhost.


When i want to login to my local mail with squirrelmail in ubuntu vivid get this error:

ERROR
Error connecting to IMAP server: localhost.
111 : Connection refused
Go to the login page
the imap server is dovecot i can login with hastymail2 without any error, these are some of squrrielmail configuration file values:

Domain : localhost
4. IMAP Server : localhost
5. IMAP Port : 145
6. Authentication type : login
7. Secure IMAP (TLS) : false
8. Server software : dovecot
9. Delimiter : detect

Mind that the default imap port is 143. So change the setting above and retry to connect
