Endian Firewall /OpenVPN server jurry rigging

Hey everyone,
this is a mishmash for the correct forum, but it is pertaining to my OpenVPN server located on an Endian Firewall box.

There are a few commands that MUST run and set up static routes, push traffic through iptables, and configure eth3. Endian has been rewritten and the documentation including their knowledge base does nto cover this. ( Not quite true but the info in the kb is false, with their info the cron doesn't run.. period. ) I had put a test script to run and echo a bunch of test info to me and it doesn't come up.

They don't put alot of their startup scripts in teh right places. They are located at /var/efw and /etc/init.d ...However, if I put scripts in either place and chmod them to a+x still they won't run on boot or cron if I put them in etc/cron.cyclic ...

suggestions? has anyone else conquered this?

Ronnie
