Enabling GD on FC9 with PHP 5.2.6

Hi All

I have just installed FC9 as a test box to learn PHP on. I have a few examples I would like to run but they apparently need GD to be enabled. I have done a

Code:

yum install gd

and the return was that it was installed and was gd-2.0.35-5.fc9.i386. When I do a phpinfo() I do not find a section for GD as others suggest when I googled on this.

The only place I get a mention of GD is in the Configure Command Section

I would appreciate a little help here as I naturally thought FC9 would have come with this enabled for use.

You probably need to install php-gd package.

yum install php-gd
