Email Authentication From AD?

We have a Linux email server that runs POSTFIX and I was wondering if it is at all possible to allow the email server to authenticate the users from Active Directory which we use in our LAN?

do you mean SMTP AUTH? if so implicitly you certainly can... http://www.thecabal.org/~devin/postfix/smtp-auth.txt that looks more than adequate to get pam based authentication working, and once that's done if you have an ldap server to query against then hook that into pam and the two will join up.
