Easy VNC configuration on Red Hat/ CentOS like SLES 10?
I am wondering if there is a quick and easy way to get VNC set up with GDM on Red Hat EL or CentOS the way that Novell has done it in SLES 10? When you install SLES 10, its very easy to turn on remote management by clicking a check box during install or from YAST. You then can point a VNC client at it on port 5900 and you get a GDM log in screen. Wow - way too easy.
Does anybody know of a way of reproducing this type of configuration in CentOS? I saw a post from last year on this site that talks about how to do this generically, but I lost heart after the third page. :-)
If I can get this boiled down to something fairly generic I will try to make a script to do it post Red Hat setup.
Thanks for any ideas.
