bobwall Member Registered: Jul 2004 Location: Milpitas, California Distribution: 1/2 Debian 1/2 my own Posts: 189 Rep:	does Windows CIFS support CIFS Unix extensions? I have a cross platform project and mount my workspace, hosted on Windows 7 Enterprise. I'm tired of seeing all those permission not preserved warnings when doing make, so do you know if any Windows CIFS implementation supports Unix extensions or is that only available for Samba? Also, the project is maintained as an IBM Clear Case static view project, so if there are any Clear Case tools to achieve what I want, that would also help.
