DNS reload problem

Hello,

We have ubuntu server and bind9 installed and setup.
When I issue rndc reload or /etc/init.d/bind9 reload I got this:

rndc: connection to remote host closed
This may indicate that
* the remote server is using an older version of the command protocol,
* this host is not authorized to connect,
* the clocks are not syncronized, or
* the key is invalid.

If I issue named-checkconf /etc/bind/named.conf I got this:

/etc/bind/named.conf.local:165: unknown key 'rndc-key'

I got the key files in the right location but I'm not sure if we even need to use them.
How can I check if I need to use this rndc-key files?

Thanks in advance

solved

solution was simple.
There was old process running and I did at least 2 updates on the software.
ps aux | grep -i named showed me the date
kill the old one and start new service.
