DNS Issue - Help Please.

Hello All,

I have been pulling my hair out with this one so I am coming to you for help.

I have a domain on a virtual host and just this one domain does not appear to be resolving out side. Other domains on this server resolved fine.

I have moved it from one server to another and still did not fix the issue.

If I ping it from RoadRunner it resolves.
But if it is pinged from say OpenDNS it fails. Also fails from MediaComm and other providers.

But they can resolve other domains on this server.

I am thinking that GoDaddy may have something to do with it. But not sure.. As 2 different servers had the same issues.

Has any one seen this issue before? If so, could you please give me any insight. I would be ever so happy.

Thanks in advance.
Richard

Look it up there. It sounds like you have some inconsistent info between the registrar and your DNS servers. The site above is always a good place to start.

Thanks!!! That helped me figure it out.. Turns out that nameservers were not configured correctly for the set NS.

I fixed it and now, all is well.

I will add that to my perm bookmarks..
