DNS issue

Hi,

when I update a zone on my bind, I notice some delay in the propagation of dns.
I use to set a little value in "Serial" and "Refresh" (like 900)..
but often, other provider still using the old ip.. even for 2 or 3 days.. or 1 week!
How can I avoid this problem?
Thank you very much.

AFAIK, you can't. If they wish to not honour your TTL values, you can't do a thing about it.
