Dns Error: Connection to the remote host close

Hello all,

I've configure primary dns server and it ok. But when i add slave dns entry it give error. Then i remove slave configuration and restart named. But it show error like "rndc: connection to the remote host close, this may indicate that the remote server is using an older version of the command protocol, this host is not authorize to connect, or the key is invalid."

can anybody help what can i do now?

Can you post your configs for each? Are you sure there's nothing blocking it like a firewall or such? Both running the same version of what, bind I assume?

Hello dear,
To configure secondary dns the enry like

zone "colbd.com" {
type slave;
file "slave.colbd.com";
masters {172.16.244.101;};
};

In which file i add this entry.

when i add this to named.conf the log file show that the domail colbd.com already added. so what can i do now?
