Cool DNS config little tweak to do? help

hello;

I have winxp and virtual guest Centos 5
winxp: 192.168.2.4
centos: 192.168.2.3

I installed bind,apache,squid, webmin in centos

fqdn: site.mydomain.local = 192.168.2.3

using winxp, I can access the ff:
a. http://192.168.2.3
b. http://192.168.2.3:10000

using winxp, I CANT access the ff:
c. http://site.mydomain.local
d. http://site.mydomain.local:10000

When i START my squid, i CAN access c & d. How come?
Squid has nothing to do with my bind config, right?
Maybe my bind has little tweak to do....can anybody help me..pls?

thanks
