Define port in DNS record?

Oddball question here; can you define a port for an A record in DNS?
Example:

test IN A 192.168.1.25:446

I don't think you can, but it popped in my head and figured I'd ask.

no, DNS has *nothing* to do with tcp / udp etc, purely IP only. There are ways to provide arbitrary test strings which a client could interpret how they see fit, but an A record provides an IP only.

Thanks. I'd figured that, but could not find any text on the topic.
