I have just installed the latest version of Luci (luci-0.21.0-5.fc12-noarch) for Fedora in the hope of managing a test cluster with it,
With previous versions there was a utility called luci_admin that was used after 1st installing and this re-set the password for the admin user, but this util is not present anymore,
So my question is does anyone have the default password for the latest version of Luci or is there something that I am missing for resetting
I use KDE (with KDM) as my desktop so the root login issue does not apply, I have tried the usual suspects admin with admin, admin with password Password Password01 etc,
EdenCC
Tried Uncle Google, he came up blank, have reviewed all README and help files and nada (badly out of date) and have even pinged the developer an e-mail (bad ju ju I know but I was desperate) posting to this forum was a last ditch attempt.
I did not try the app name and will give that a go.
Thanks
Jay

no luck with luci luciadmin or combinations. thanks anyway
BTW anyone installing this and getting an internal error when opening http://localhost:8080 to display the site should install the python module tw.dynforms
As of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2, the root user or a user who has been granted luci administrator permissions on a system running luci can control access to the various luci components by setting permissions for the individual users on a system. To set the user permissions, log in to luci as root and click the Admin selection in the upper right corner of the luci screen. This brings up the USER PERMISSIONS page, showing a dropdown menu from which you can select a user.
