Dedicated Server / Exim / Gmail Issue

I'll try to keep this as succinct as possible

I have my e-mail handled through gmail (google apps). I have hosted DNS, which has all the correct MX records and whatnot.

I just moved to a new server, which we'll say is on domain www.issue.com. That server can send mail to everyone just fine, but when it tries to send mail to anyone @issue.com, it fails. My mail is hosted through gmail though, so I want that server to send all mail to its own domain to google, instead of to itself.

I could have sworn I had to change something in resolv.conf or hosts, but I checked and that's wrong. Any ideas?

Thanks!!!
