Debian - Suggestion for mail management application

Hello everyone,

Although it's been a year since I moved to Linux OS for my day-to-day operations, I can still be considered as a newbie. So please go easy on me.

Well, today, I'm helping one of my colleague to set up a Debian OS to handle newsletters. He needs the Debian OS to be able to handle roughly 100,000 newsletter e-mails.

As you can imagine, while broadcasting newsletters, there will be a few that gets bounced back. We just need an application that makes this all easy for reporting and all that.

Is there anything anyone can suggest? An application that can be used to manage mailing lists, reporting and etc. etc.

Your suggestions are much appreciated.

Thank you very much in advance.

Cheers,
Henry

So his is sending 100,000 emails? What program is he using to do that?

Thanks for your reply.

No, I don't imagine he'll be sending that much everytime, But that's just an approximate figure of how many people he might be looking into doing.

Anyhow, you asked what program? Actually, I was after a suggestion of what program we can use to accomplish that.

Your suggestions would be apprciated.

It seems that MailMan is the answer of my question.
