Debian LTSP Local transcoding

I have successfully set up network with a Debian based file server where any of the connected nodes can, as an alternative to the installed OS, boot to an LTSP environment on the server.
I would like to know if it is possible from within the LTSP environment to run OGMRip or similar DVD transcoding application utilising the local hardware rather than monopolising the resources of the server.
