Debian Linux server freeze issue

I use my Debian Buster box for Plex, Roon, and a few docker containers. Recently, it's freezing randomly and when it does the display output would just be garbled.

I'm a Linux noob and don't know how to start troubleshooting these kind of issues. Can you guide me in the right direction?

Is this a desktop or laptop?

Make sure the air inlets are clean from dust and dirt and that all of the fans are working.

Check the temperatures from one of the many sensor monitoring applications.

Maybe a CPU or GPU overheating problem.

It's an Intel NUC 10th GEN. I'm 100% positive that it's not temp-related as the temps hover between 50 to 60C and most of the time the server has minimal load on CPU and RAM anyway.

Which logs should I be looking at anyway?

Use pastebinit (this is a Debian tool for posting logs) and show us your Xorg log. I assume you have Xorg running and this is not a headless server?

This is a headless server, I forgot to mention. So no Xorg logs of any sort. I have a display device plugged in just for the sake of seeing the shell output when it hangs. When it hangs, the HDMI display device just outputs garbled characters.

It has two RAM modules? I'd try and remove one at the time and see if the problem goes away.

Yes, two RAM modules. I haven't tested with Memtest86 yet but I will. Won't any logs tell us that it's definitely a RAM issue?

It looks like mcelog is not supported in Debian 10 anymore. It was replaced by rasdaemon but the when I read about it, they say that it's used for monitoring ECC errors
I don't have ECC RAM modules. Will it still work?

Sorry, don't know that. But why don't you try and post results here. It would be useful information for many.
