Debian DBus loop

Hello Fooks !

Few weeks ago I installed one web hosting with Ispconfig3 and all the services on Debian Squeeze.

3 days ago I noticed that one process is overloading the machine. The process is

1322 messageb 20 0 2980 1300 728 S 3 0.1 1:03.13 dbus-daemon

And then I type --> tail -f /var/log/syslog

and i Saw this...

May 20 12:37:11 server1 acpid: 1 client rule loaded
May 20 12:37:11 server1 gdm3[1340]: WARNING: GdmDisplay: display lasted 0,187654 seconds
May 20 12:37:12 server1 acpid: client 24985[0:0] has disconnected
May 20 12:37:12 server1 acpid: client connected from 24989[0:0]
May 20 12:37:12 server1 acpid: 1 client rule loaded
May 20 12:37:12 server1 gdm3[1340]: WARNING: GdmDisplay: display lasted 0,189024 seconds
May 20 12:37:12 server1 acpid: client 24989[0:0] has disconnected

Any Ideas how to fix that ? I googled it but ... nothing..

Anyone cound help me ?

Best Regards,

Try to re-configure your dbus and gdm package:
Code:
# dpkg-reconfigure dbus
# dpkg-reconfigure gdm
that MIGHT solve your problem.

I tried to reconfigure before post this thread here.

Thanks, but i found better solution. Noone is going to use the "X" so I removed Gnome Desktop and all the problems disappeared.

Thanks for the post
