Sir? Who's been knighted?

You need to provide more useful information than that. What temp files? what cache files? What proxy is this??

Temp files and cache from what exactly? It sounds like you mean the proxy cache, but you didn't say. RHEL 5 is a distribution, not a proxy. What proxy are you using? Does it support a tool or command to clear the cache?

You will likely need to write a script to do the job and create a cron task for this purpose. Without more information, it is impossible to advise you further.

Ok..we'll "suggest you" spell out your words, and ask a clear question. Also, bear in mind there are not just "sirs" on this forum.

And if you're using RHEL, then CALL REDHAT since you're paying for support. If you're not, then you shouldn't be using it. If you're using Squid as a cache server, then have you tried to Google for this, as there are MANY sites that tell you how to accomplish what you're asking.
