Smile CVS CLIENT connecting error


hi,

i have installed cvs server in linux server, and in windows client tortoise cvs i have installed. when try to make new module from client it throws error as " cvs.exe [import aborted]:/home/cvs: no such repository. Error:CVS operation failed"

i am not able to make new module

kindly, help me with this problem

So what's the commandline you used to access the repo and create a module? Maybe revisit the CVS manual from your earlier thread?

From WinCVS client software, i dont think you can create a new module/repository.

Create New Module in CVS server and access through client system.
# cd /usr/local/repository
# mkdir sample_module
# chown -R cvs:cvs sample_module
# chmod -R 2775 sample_module

use the above steps
