cupsd (version 1.4.2) keeps stopping after printing one or two jobs

I am running cupsd with Centos 6.2 using an old proliant ml350 G4. recently I noticed that the "cupsd" keeps stopping sometimes only after a few minutes from re-starting the print server. It will usually re-start ok and let me do one or two print jobs. This has only started recently but I cannot be sure if it relates to any recent centos or cups updates. I have 2 printers setup, 1 an Epson DX4400 using a usb port and 2 an old canon using an HP jetdirect, both have been working ok previously.

I have checked dmesg and am getting
"cupsd[25207]: segfault at 64692d6e6f69 ip 00007ffb8a8943e6 sp 00007fff49c850e8 error 4 in libc-2.12.so[7ffb8a816000+186000]"

and in messages,
kernel: cupsd[6543] general protection ip:7f56526137ee sp:7fff32618af0 error:0 in libcups.so.2[7f56525ee000+4b000]

any idea's

Its working ok! checked the RedHat fixes and tried using the "default cupsd.conf" it worked and when I used the original it kept working, can no longer re-produce the fault I'll close it for now
