courier-authlib and vpopmail

Hi,

I've a problem with a qmail installation (Debian Lenny).
I'm using vpopmail, and qmail-pop3d works fine.
I can't compile courier-authlib with vchkpw support, because from 2008 isn't supported.

Question: my vpopmail configuration stores users in mysql database.
Can I have problems if I configure courier-authlib to use directly mysql module?
For example, qmailadmin should work fine?

Thankyou

Courier-auth doesn't generally write to the databse, so you can certainly try.

There should be no harm done.
