Could int able to reolve particular domain name in ubuntu 10.04

Hi all
I Had installed ubuntu 10.04 lucid ,But i could int resolve a particular domain name ,But it seems works fine for all remaining domainname like google,yahoo are getting resolving.Even i could able to ping the ipaddress of the domain which not resolving .

what happens if you try a "dig"?? what DNS servers are you using? is it an instant failure, or does it take a while to give up the resolution?

Its local ubuntu desktop machine .

root@demo:~# dig

; <<>> DiG 9.7.0-P1 <<>>
;; global options: +cmd
;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached

Its instant failure .It was working fine before 1 hour

1.I could int figure out whether it dns issue are else firewall issue .
2.since i was inside the firewall i restarted my sonicwall and given openaccess for the ipaddress .Even same error
3.I have int confgured dns in the server .So i could int find it could be dns issue .

Check by changing ur alternate Dns server ipaddress.Similar thread in Lq follow these thread
