Yes, that is exactly right, please select ok.

I did that for my installation here. I ran into exactly the same problems you are running into.

You are half way there.

And if you want to remove the 8.4 files later, you can.

i know this sounds noobish... how do you select 'ok' ? I have tried pressing 'enter' etc.

ok, so after I got to that blue screen I used the right arrow button to highlight the 'ok' button and pressed 'enter' it worked and I was able to finish what I needed to install etc, and now 'apt-get install' works perfectly, Thank You for Your help
