Smile Configuring DNS in my mail server

I have installed a mail server under iredmail/redcube and CentOS 5.6 with ip_local: 192.168.5.x (it's a example), so I've done redirection by NAT in my router with the follow ports:
25-80-110-143-443-995-587.

In my DNS configuration from my own domain have this values:

domain: xxxx.es

MY_PUBLIC_IP_SERVER / 24 PTR xxxx.es
xxxx.es NS ns.xxxx.es
xxxx.es MX(10) iredmail.xxxx.es
xxxx.es TXT v=spf1 +a +mx -all
ftp.xxxx.es CNAME xxxx.es
iredmail.xxxx.es A MY_PUBLIC_IP_SERVER
www.xxxx.es CNAME xxxx.es

After that, I can access from outside (other network) with:
iredmail.xxxx.es/mail

I can send and receive some emails from gmail or live.com but when i try to send to other domain or receive, never happens, and i don't receive any error mail.

Could you help me showing your configuration DNS regs in a similar scenary? or what could be my problem?

Thankx for your time

Hi,

If you can send and receive from gmail or live.com, then you dns is ok. Maybe if you have added/changed the MX record, you have to wait a bit until the change is propagated.
Re. the zone file posted, you don't have an A record for xxxx.es, so ftp and www that are CNAMEs of it cannot be resolved
Also you have 2 identical MX records.

Regards

ok, thankx.
I've just changed it, I forgot add A record for xxxx.es.
About MX record, I did't change it, so I think that is not my real problem... :S

If you can receive mail, then your MX is ok
You also can check your domain here.

I hava some errors, for example:

Missing nameservers reported by parent FAIL: The following nameservers are listed at your nameservers as nameservers for your domain, but are not listed at the parent nameservers (see RFC2181 5.4.1). You need to make sure that these nameservers are working. If they are not working ok, you may have problems!
ns.xxxx.es

Missing nameservers reported by your nameservers ERROR: One or more of the nameservers listed at the parent servers are not listed as NS records at your nameservers. The problem NS records are:
dns1.yyyy.com
dns2.yyyy.com
This is listed as an ERROR because there are some cases where nasty problems can occur (if the TTLs vary from the NS records at the root servers and the NS records point to your own domain, for example).

Stealth NS records sent Stealth NS records were sent:
ns.xxxx.es

How can I fix it?
thank you

You should post the complete zone file, masking the domain and the IPs if you want
