Question Configure Sendmail relay local domain.

I have a server with domain company.com in the search order suffix.
however, company.com emails are hosted by google app.
when i do telnet localhost 25 and issue rcpt to:<webrequest@company.com>
I get user unknown. That user does not exist locally but does exist in google apps and does receive email (verified using actual google mx server).
Goal is to allow a local app to submit mail to sendmail destined to @company.com mailboxes.

Much help always appreciated!

- Roman.
