hi there i got a big problem

i have to create a webhost on an running fedora server which runs multiple webpages + a coldfusion server

i have to add an coldfusion virtual host to these.
i cant effort to make a mistake so can anyone help me?


what i would do:
*crate a new user & group
*enter vhosts.conf and copy an existing host and modify it for the new one.
*create an new folder and copy the main files (phpstarter and webroot)
*chown the files for the right user

i think an apache graceful would be needet.

did i miss something?

There are lots of tutorial in the web on how to install a webserver that runs apache + coldfusion.

The tutorial is for Ubuntu distro but it's still the same with Fedora. Just look for the mentioned packages and install it through yum.

Once you have properly set-up Apache + Coldfusion... be sure to edit Virtual Host directives in Apache e.g. " DirectoryIndex index.cfm, etc..."
