Check CPU - Red Hat - how to check if CPU working correctly ?

does any one knows how can I test CPU in Red Hat ? Is there any tools to check if CPU working correctly ?

You have top or cat /proc/cpuinfo.
Do you have any issue? or strange behaviour?

Why do you want to check if your CPU is "CPU working correctly"?

I need something like MEMTest but for CPU. Some diagnostic tool for CPU from Red Hat repository. Do you know something like this ?

But I guess it doesn't do what you expect, although I still didn't get why you want to do this.
Most of the time, if your system become unstable due to the CPU, it's an issue of temperature.

This is multiprocessor machine working in cluster. In /var/log/messages I have found this

I would like to analyse this problem (if its possible ofcourse) with some CPU diagnostic tools, but only from RedHat repository. In the cluster node You shouldnt install not certified software. I cant stop this machine because one processor is still productive.

So, does anybody knows CPU diagnostic tool from RedHat ?

Wait, here the issue seems to be solved although there is no clear explanation why: (but that would remove the Hardware issue)

Is that the only problem symptom you're seeing?

Are you using the SMP kernel? (Run uname -a if do not know.)

I have found the reason. This was problem with Memory. Thanks every one for help and support :)
