CentOS postfix basic email configuration

Want to configure centOS server with postfix for email receipt for multiple domains.

Don't really know where to start. Always used a control panel before, but for this new server I have shell.

I just want to be able to set up a couple of email addresses for each site. Just the basic set up.

Any help appreciated.

And I was like BAM! http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/postfix

the centos wiki has 99% of these type of walkthroughs for you just as a heads up. I would bookmark it for future reference, I use it quite often

What is your domain name so I can take a look at the external DNS?

If you want to feel free to send it to me in a PM.

Do you have your domain MX record pointing to your server ?
Code:
IN MX 10 192.168.0.3 ; example IP for domain MX
taken from here and slightly changed IP instead of "mail"

You can check if your domain MX is ok -> here

If you have a hosted domain on some WHM check here.

Then you will probably get to setting up the postfix.
