centos image backup


dear sirs,

i do find many products like partiamge, clonezilla which work offline mode to take image of linux machine.there are machine that we cant shutdown and there we need to take os/hardware level backup

however i could not find any product that can used on runtime/live level.

there are some like acronis they are paid. could someone can highlight or share experience of this.

If you use dd perhaps, would you still encounter read errors on open files since you're work at a block level? Might be one possible solution, I guess it depends on your exact needs?

your question is not clear to me

i ask to take image of linux, in acronis we can do live without shutdown any process, os or machine. but in others software we cant

My suggestion was to try the command, dd
