CentOS fails to mount NFS share on boot

CentOS does not mount a NFS share during boot. However, after boot, I issue mount -all, it mounts the NFS share without issue.
Here is /etc/fstab's entry:
198.45.20.11:/depot /depot nfs _netdev,hard,wsize=8192,rsize=8192,rw,bg,intr 0 0

Any advice is appreciated.

Hi,

maybe you need to add the _netdev option, so this mount waits for network

http://linux.die.net/man/8/mount

It looks like the _netdev option was included in the initial entry in fstab.

On another note, what does the entry look like in /proc/mounts?

I may have found something:

Take a look at chkconfig, it's possible that netfs is not set to run during your default runlevel.

1) chkconfig --list | grep netfs
This will tell you when netfs will start
2) who -r
This will tell you what runlevel you're in presently(assuming it's right after a reboot, it'll be your default runlevel).

Finally, check /etc/rc3.d/, make sure there is an S#netfs file there. The lower the #, the higher it will start during boot.
