I need some advice from you. I have seen that centos 7 is certified to install on HP ML310 gen8 v2 but did anyone installed on it? was there some problems with RAID drivers or in general problems with drivers.
Actually I think he specified it: B120i adapter.
I've been running Dell server kit nearly exclusively for the past decade so I'm not all that familiar with the HP controllers, but a quick search turned this up:
It rather sounds like this controller is one of the dreaded "FakeRAID" variety. That said, perhaps the above instructions might help--although they're specific to CentOS 6. However, one of the comments after the article includes a link for CentOS 7.
This seems to be about the only hurdle you might run into; I think the rest of the system should be fine...
correct my friend that's B120i adapter. Server will be shipped soon. RAID is important in my configuration I hope I will install driver or I can use centos 6 with no problem. First I will try centos 7.
