CentOS 5: postfix with mysql
Hi.
I'm thinking of switching from postfix-2.3.3-2.x86_64.rpm to postfix-2.3.3-2.el5.centos.mysql_pgsql.x86_64.rpm. This is a company server, so I want the change to go smoothly. Does anyone have any experience with it (e.g. unusual behavior during the upgrade, any config files that were overwritten)? |
Just a follow up:
My "upgrade" was successful. Nothing unusual happened. The old config files and hash tables stayed place. I downloaded the rpm from centosplus and did a Code:
yum localupdate postfix-2.3.3-2.el5.centos.mysql_pgsql.x86_64.rpm |
