CentOS 5.5 Grub Issue

Hello Linux professionals!!!

I seems to have issue with grub on my Centos 5.5 box. System won't boot, giving me grub> prompt. I was able to mount file system and found out that my grub.conf file is empty. Can any one give any idea how to get this going. I'm really don't want to loose this installation after so much work has been done. Please check attachments to see content of /boot and /boot/grub folders.

Regards

Romko

Have you tried to update your kernel?

There should be a newer one in the updates repo.

That should create a working grub.conf.

Is this grub legacy and did you install it in a separate partition?

This is regular grub default installation options.
I was able to start x server and use package manager to reinstall grub and kernel.
Kernel installation doesn't change grub.conf file. it throws "grubby" error.
