cannot receive/send email

I used this tutorial to setup to setup iSpconfig postfix courier:

http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-se...nx-ispconfig-3

but i cannot send or receive email:

Code:
-Queue ID- --Size-- ----Arrival Time---- -Sender/Recipient-------
B450C72116A 595 Mon May 2 17:33:50 www-data@mail.greensevenstudios.com
(connect to 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024: Connection refused)
user@greensevenstudios.com

3009C72116F 773 Mon May 2 17:37:31 user@greensevenstudios.com
(connect to 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024: Connection refused)
user@greensevenstudios.com
I googled this error and found that i would need to restart amavisd but when i try /etc/init.d/amavisd restart it says no such function even though apparently that's the command, i rebooted my machine just to make sure but still nothing. please help
