Can we specify DNS IP in /etc/postfix/network_table

Hello Team,

We have Postfix Relay Server locally.

We want one of our site in abroad where we have dynamic IP addressing system should be able to send mails to mentioned relay server.

In order to achieve this, can I specify the DNS server IP of the remote location in the file /etc/postfix/network_table

Please suggest how can I go about it.

Try specifying your local/relay machine's IP address on the remote machine's postfix configuration (relayhost) inside a square bracket. It wouldn't go for MX record verification.

Are your local and remote servers are on two different private networks ?

Thank you so much for your response.

We do not have any relay server in the remote location as we don't have static IP for the same due to some reasons.

Our local and remote sites has Private IP addressing of two different networks.
