Can linux+apache cater to pages that are accessed by mobile devices like cellphones?

I think that WAP is a dieing technology.. and so I'm not referring to WAP.

Since more and more cellphones are rolling out that supports 3g and can connect to the internet like a normal computer, can also browse websites but with sever limitaion to view size since most pages are coded for at least 800x600 resolutions.

I plan to set up a linux+apache server and I was wondering if there is any tweaks or added configurations I need to code/add/modify in order for mobile cellphone visitors to effecively access the pages and scripts (like java/flash) hosted on apache.

can both webpages made for monitor viewing be shown to mobile cps too or will I have to make a 2 versions of the same pages?

thanks.

I do not think it has anything to do with apache and linux. It's just the way you code your website. There are plenty of sites for mobiles. To name a few www.google.com.au/imode, wap.ebay.com, mob.e-messenger.net, www.m-w.com/palm.htm, mobile.live.com, http://slashdot.org/palm, http://www.ebuddy.com/mobile/index.php and many more. Pages for mobiles are strictly depending on the way you code them.

Does anyone know what kind of CSS media 3g mobiles phones react to? Surely it isn't "screen", or is it?

Yves.
