Question Can't mount Samba share

Hi, I am completely new to Linux and I am attempting to set up a server for a few websites I manage. I have installed Xubuntu Linux 10.04 and I am using Samba. I am trying to connect to my share "homes" and I'm not able to connect. I primarily use a Mac and it won't let me mount the volume. But when I tried to use Windows XP (thinking maybe it was just the Mac), I was still unable to connect. Any help would be appreciated.
