Can't get permissions right

A little background, I've been using Linux for YEARS. I've set up a router/firewall/webserver for my wifes business; I've even set up a file server for the construction company that I work for. Recently, the decision was made to purchase a software suite for the business. Unfortunately, it requires windblows. So, we bought a copy of Server 2003, and I tried to set it up. For the life of me, I couldn't get the company shares to work. Searched the net, to no avail. Ended up having to call a "professional" in to tell me what to do to fix it. We (in the Linux world) have a great resource in and HOWTO manuals and all the other great forums. We should all be VERY thankful, that we can ask others here (and elsewhere); because people stuck using M$ software don't have near the resources we do. KUDO's to all posters and responders here and elsewhere. We just don't realize how good we have it...
