Can't contact LDAP server (-1)
 
I have installed ldap 2.4.16 with bdb 4.5. When I am doing ldapadd i am getting error "ldap_sasl_bind(SIMPLE): Can't contact LDAP server (-1)". pls help me to clear this error...

You will need to provide more information if anyone is to help you.

Is ldap running? Are you just running ldapadd with no parameters???
