It's probably a permissions issue.

SUGGESTION:
If you can run X at all, try typing "xhost +localhost" in another Window.

WARNING:
"xhost +<anything>" is a potential security risk. Use it with caution!!!

Hi, again -

1. You're at the Linux console, right?
And you're in GUI mode (you have a desktop, with graphical icons, a menu bar, etc). Correct?
You are NOT at a "remote console", and you are NOT in "text mode". Correct?

You apparently need X windows to run "Domain Utility". If you're NOT in a GUI, all bets are off.

2. Try running "xclock". If you can run "xclock", then you should be able to run "Domain Utility".

3. If "xclock" fails the same way, then type this:

export DISPLAY=unix:0
xclock

4. If "xclock" now works, try "Domain Utility" again (from the same command prompt).

5. If "xclock" fails, please cut/paste the exact error message.

'Hope that helps .. PSM
