Question Can't connect to mysql via http, terminal works fine

Hi Folks-

LFW is having troubles: I set password for Mysql and can log in just fine from the terminal, however I get "access denied for user root@localhost.localdomain" when trying to access via php script in a browser. The php script is correct and the passwords being passed via php are correct (I have another LAMP website that works flawlessly). What gives?
RHEL 4.0

Hmm... I can't help but ask exactly how you are connecting to the DB?

Please sanitize the code and post it on here. I know you said that it works on another system, but there may be a problem if PHP versions are different (this has happened to me a few times).
