Dear Linux gurus,
I cannot edit my dhcp.conf file using the instructions found at
www.edubuntu.org/gettingstarted to edit the dhcp.conf file.
I pressed alt F2 then type in the exact command it says in the instructions. It is: gksudo "gedit/etc/ltsp/dhcpd.conf" I've even tried just sudo or ksudo.
Then, it asks for my password. I enter the password of the account in which I am at the time. The account is enabled to be an administrator. Then the screen disappears and nothing happens.
I've even tried to edit the file by opening it in the text editor, but when I save the system says I don't have permissions to edit this file.
Has anyone else run into this problem? If so, what advice do you have?
