Bonding Interfaces in Oracle Linux/OVS

So I'm having dificulty bonding two interfaces and connecting to a VLAN on an Oracle Linux box running OVS/Oracle VM

The server is a ProLiant BL490c G6 blade in a rack mount (Hence the need for VLAN).
The settings work exactly the same on an identical box (But running RHEL 5) in the same rack connected to the same interface/switch.

Scripts in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts

ifcfg-eth0
Code:
DEVICE=eth0
BOOTPROTO=none
ONBOOT=yes
MASTER=bond0
SLAVE=yes
USERCTL=no
ifcfg-eth1
Code:
DEVICE=eth1
BOOTPROTO=none
ONBOOT=yes
MASTER=bond0
SLAVE=yes
USERCTL=no
ifcfg-bond0
Code:
DEVICE=bond0
BOOTPROTO=none
ONBOOT=yes
BONDING_OPTS="mode=1 miimon=100"
ifcfg-bond0.193
Code:
DEVICE=bond0.193
BOOTPROTO=static
BROADCAST=192.168.1.255
IPADDR=192.168.1.207
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
NETWORK=192.168.1.0
ONBOOT=yes
VLAN=yes
Output of 'service network restart'

Code:
Shutting down interface bond0.193: Removed VLAN -: bond0.193:- [OK]
bonding: unable to remove non-existent slave eth0 for bond bond0.
Shutting down interface bond0: [OK]
Shutting down loopback interface: [OK]
Bringing up loopback interface: [OK]
bnx2x: eth0 NIC Link is Down
bnc2x: eth0 NIC Link is Down
bnc2x: eth0 NIC Link is Down
RTNETLINK answers: No such device
bnx2x: eth1 NIC Link is Down
Bringing up interface bond0: [OK]
bnx2x: eth1 NIX Link is Down
Bringing up interface bond0.193: Added VLAN with VID == 193 to IF -:bond0:-
bnx2x: eth1 NIX Link is Down
Still no connection,
thanks,
-Sam

Do you have this added to /etc/modprobe.conf:
alias bond0 bonding

Not sure if the bold part is needed but it is in my ifcfg-eth0/eth1 configs
DEVICE=eth0
USERCTL=no
ONBOOT=yes
MASTER=bond0
SLAVE=yes
BOOTPROTO=none
HWADDR=<mac addr>

You also may have to run this command as well.

modprobe 8021q

Hi,

Could you post the output of cat /proc/net/bonding/bond0 and your /etc/modprobe.conf?

Best regards
jose
