blocking of torrent software through squid

hi. Is there anyway to block torrents(torrent software)by using squid. the file can be blocked but any body can tell me how to block torrent software so that downloading of torrents can be stopped.

I dont believe this can be done with squid.
It would be a job for the firewall, by dropping all but the allowed ports. Such as http, pop, imap, dns, etc.
