bind installation problem


Sir
i try to install bind to configure dns server in rhel5 using
[root@telnet ~]# yum install bind*
Loading "rhnplugin" plugin
Loading "installonlyn" plugin
This system is not registered with RHN.
RHN support will be disabled.

... I just found this hint

make sure the ROOTDIR-Variable in /etc/sysconfig/named contains
code:
ROOTDIR=/var/named/run-root
Updating via YUM resets it to ROOTDIR=/var/named/chroot

You should be able to copy named.conf from:

/usr/share/doc/bind-9.3.3/sample/etc

After the installation if it won't install it to the chroot dir.
