Bandwidth monitoring software?

Hey guys.

Despite owning a dedicated server for over 2 years now, I've never actually gotten round to setting up a proper bandwidth monitoring tool, however I think it might be worth getting round to now.

I've had a bit of fiddling with ntop, bandwidthd and mrtg, but they all seem to be an incredible headache to actually set up and manage. All the other alternatives I've come across seem to be either overkill (cacti namely) or not really what I'm looking for (web based).

I used to have a VPS from linode quite some time ago. They had a great little set of graphs generated by RRDtool. That's effectively what I'm looking for. Just something that can generate graphs for last day, week, month and show a total for the last 30 days.

So, what are all the cool kids using these days?

Cheers, Adam.

vnstat should do it.
Its most likely available in your package manager, and there is a webui available here

Oh cool. Just installed that with the WebUI, seems to be pretty much bang on what I was looking for. I'll see how this goes.

Thanks a lot!
