Asterisk installation

hi this is me khagendra new member to this forum.
dear all, i am willing to configure astricks server in fedora core will u suggest me what i need to do at first.the initial requirement to configure astricks.configuration steps

I don't know if you have telephony background. If not, you should probably read about it. Even if you have, I recommend you to download a book on Asterisk:
Your questions are answered inside, but I'll make a short intro.

The setup depends on the interfaces you're planning to have. I will be different when you're planning VoIP only (then a standard machine with network card will do), different when you're planning to use analog or digital lines (you need interface cards, then).

Yeah, I'd agree with Mara, Asterisk is something you really should read the documentation to better understand it. Without knowing what type of hardware and how you will be setting up the phones, it's hard to just tell someone how to install and configure. Read the docs, when you come across something you don't understand, then ask away.
