Question Apache2 config on Mepis6 and DynDNS

Hi folks, I'm to Linux and Apache but I ran LANs for quiet some time.

First let me describe my set-up.

1. WRT54G v4 router. LAN IP=192.168.1.1 (255.255.255.0 subnet) and dynamic IP is whatever my ISP assigns. Setup DynDNS account and it properly resolves to my WAN router IP. I also have forwarded port 80 to IP=192.168.1.3 (see below).

2. Mepis6 connected to the router above. LAN IP=192.168.1.3 (255.255.255.0 subnet) single eth0 interface. I installed apache2 via synaptic. In browser I see apache welcome page if I type 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.1.3. I have guarddog firewall running on it, and I believe I have port 80 open.

3. WinXP connected to the router above. LAN IP=192.168.1.2 (255.255.255.0 subnet). I can ping 192.168.1.3, but 192.168.1.3 in browser doesn't come up.

Here is the interesting part, before I forwarded port 80 to Mepis6 box, if I typed blabla.homelinux.com in browser I would hit my router config page.

Do I need to change some configuration settings in apache so that it serves pages on LAN and WAN?

I greatly will appreciate any of your help

OK, after poking around guarddog firewall settings I figured out that it was blocking outgoing http on port 80. Problem solved
